Readiness & planning
Review design intent, approved submittals, commissioning responsibilities, test prerequisites, and acceptance criteria. Establish a readiness tracker that connects installation completion, vendor startup, testing resources, and turnover milestones.
Electrical systems
Coordinate verification of switchgear, UPS, generators, transfer equipment, and distribution systems. Support load-bank planning, power-path reviews, and witnessed functional testing against approved project procedures.
Mechanical & cooling
Coordinate HVAC and cooling-system readiness, including chillers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC equipment, controls, and liquid-cooling interfaces where included in scope. Review startup, balancing, operating sequences, and performance records.
Controls integration
Support point-to-point verification, sensor and alarm checks, BMS/EPMS interface coordination, and sequence-of-operations testing. Confirm that monitoring provides useful, consistent information to the operations team.
Functional & integrated testing
Coordinate system-level testing and integrated scenarios that evaluate dependencies, redundancy, recovery, and maintenance modes. Align test execution with approved methods, qualified personnel, and site operating constraints.
Deficiency closure & turnover
Assign issues to accountable owners, track corrective actions and retests, and maintain evidence of closure. Coordinate test records, O&M documentation, training, and outstanding items for a structured operational handover.
